The Castle Building
The castle consists of a three-winged, two-story building. At the ends of the side wings are corner towers with conical roofs. The avant-corps are emphasized by gables. On the garden side rises a three-story clock tower with a tented roof. Parts of the interior furnishings still date back to the original construction period.

Preserving Tradition
A Journey into History
14th Century
The roots of Schloss Gusow reach back to the 14th century. However, the house took on its current form between 1870 and 1873, when it was rebuilt in a neo-Gothic style. With its striking towers and the clock tower, it is a testament to Prussian architecture.

After 1945
After the Second World War, the castle became the property of the municipality. For decades, it served the people as a storage facility, kindergarten, after-school care center, and administrative building. Thus, the castle always remained a vibrant part of the village, even if partially stripped of its former glory.
A New Beginning in 1992
In 1992, architect Peter Engelhardt acquired the estate – the fulfillment of a childhood dream. With dedication, he devoted himself to its revitalization. A hotel, a café, and a museum were created, turning Schloss Gusow into a place of encounter once again.
